leadnews.Dhaka,June 9, 2026 – * The People’s Rights Council, Dhaka Metropolitan City, has announced a program of protest marches to protest the alleged forceful ‘push-in’ and aggressive behavior on the border by India at the Bangladesh border.
The party has informed that the protest march will start in front of the Al-Razi Complex in Paltan, Dhaka, at 4 pm on June 10.
Abu Hanif, a member of the People’s Rights Council’s higher council and media coordinator, said the program was organized to demand the country’s sovereignty, border security, and protection of national interests.
He alleged that the incidents of ‘push-ins’ at the border have increased at an alarming rate in recent times. Attempts to force people into Bangladesh are against international law, human rights, and the principles of mutual respect and cooperation between neighboring countries.
Abu Hanif also said that the people of the country must take a united stand against any kind of aggressive activities on the border and behavior that threatens the sovereignty of Bangladesh. The People’s Rights Council wants to build public opinion on this issue through peaceful and democratic programs.
The party’s leaders have called on people from all walks of life to participate in the protest march.
